Snow, and GreenWizard, players on the Noob Adventures Server, have created a new, retro-style action game for the iPhone! We here at BrainForce V were very happy to make the trailer for them! Try it out!

I'd like to thank the guys at Brainforce for doing the trailer for us. It's so kick ass. It reflects the game excellently, which is a totally ridiculously campy zombie game. If anyone is wondering, the game is basically a representation of VFD handheld games of the 80's. These were games that had lcd style graphics like Game and Watch games, except that your sprites were colored. They were very cool but limited. When I was a kid playing these games, I wanted to play a version where there were far less physical limitations (due to technology). Now with the iPhone, we made a game which I think reflects that vision. It's simple. It's a perfect handheld game. We must have put up to 500 hours of playtesting into this little simple game. I'm not kidding. I started development on this game in February 2011. I was what I like to call 'pixel doodling' and came up with the simple sprites. I came up with the game mechanic not much later. And since then, it's been on and off development and constant play testing and tweaking. We did the absolute best we could to make a quality game that was worth every penny. So enjoy. Play it and have fun. And remember, help us out and rate it.

For now, it will work on iPad, but wasn't made with iPad in mind, so if you do play it on iPad, you'll have black bars. Otherwise, as for the android version. Help us out guys and if we have lots of positive feedback and support, the Android and official iPad versions will come quicker.

Thank you so much Alex. I really appreciate the review and rating. As for pausing.. we left that out on purpose since usually in arcade games you don't get to pause. It's all about getting as far as you can from the roof top and killing as many zombies as you can in one go. If more players ask for it though, I might consider it. I may put up an update within a few weeks anyway, that has background music in it. So if there are enough requests, I'll put pausing in as well.

In a week or 2 I might host some competitions or events on the server where promo codes could be prizes.

Now that you mention it, it does seem understandable. I recently had another thought: what about leaderboards? Even though there's a scoring system in there for each individual iPhone/iPod Touch, wouldn't be cool to see the highest worldwide scores?
